Enhancing our children's education through:
- Supporting enrichment programs and services that compliment the curriculum at our school
- Encouraging parental involvement in family oriented activities
- Providing information to parents of PTO related activities in the Hanson Schools
- Fundraising to support the schools by providing items to enhance the children's learning experience in the classroom and ease the burden on our wonderful teachers.
The fundraising activities of the Hanson PTO raise necessary funds to reach our mission of supporting the schools in our town. The PTO not only helps to provide fun activities and experiences, but also the funds needed to keep up with the ever changing technology our children need. This would not be possible without support of our parent community.

We are Hanson's Parent Teacher Organization serving the Indian Head Elementary School grades K-4.
Our goal is to promote an active interest in the enhancement of our schools. We work with parents and community members to raise and dispense money to our schools. This year we are raising money for enrichment programs such as Museum of Science Traveling Programs, The Brain Show, Various STEM programs and activities, classroom libraries and flexible classroom seating.
